Always By Your Side

We can manage, monitor, and assist with the due diligence process but will not provide any legal interpretations of documents. In conjunction with your legal counsel, we can review and provide business-related comments to indications of interest, letters of intent, and definitive transaction documents. Upon request, we can make recommendations on outside professionals, including lawyers, CPAs, tax advisors, risk management advisors, and valuation firms.

Effective transaction project management support can keep the transaction on track, minimize surprises, and allow our clients to focus more time on the business.  We can help you track and minimize transaction costs by eliminating duplication of efforts and minimizing the risk of tasks dropping in the cracks.

MTAG works with your lawyers, CPAs, and other outside professionals.  MTAG does not act as clients’ legal counsel or tax advisor and will not provide any legal services, accounting, risk management, valuation, or tax advisory services of any nature. We are not lawyers, CPAs, business brokers, or investment bankers.

How We Work

We work with our clients to design a fee structure that fits each situation and is equitable to both parties. We primarily work on an hourly or fixed fee basis but are also open to structuring performance-based fees in appropriate circumstances. We will work with you to clearly define the scope, timeframe, deliverables and fees up front, and we always provide an engagement agreement that reflects our mutual understanding.
